Our Staff

We are a team of 5 of which 4 are podiatrists. Each specialises in different fields with all treating all patients for common problems

Ainslie Davies - Podiatrist

Ainslie has been practising podiatry in Buderim since graduating from QUT with a Diploma in Applied Science - Podiatry (with Distinction) in Brisbane in 1991. Ainslie continued her studies through Queen Margaret University College in Edinburgh with a Bachelor and Masters degrees in Podiatry. Running the business has been supported by the recent completion of and Executive- MBA through University of the Sunshine Coast. Ainslie is a councillor with the Australian Podiatry Association (Qld) and also has tutoring responsibilities with QUT podiatry students.

Ainslie has a keen interest in the high risk foot, which includes diabetes, neuropathy and rheumatoid foot conditions. The best thing about podiatry is "just helping people on a one to one basis. I like the way podiatry goes from diagnosing and assessing through to treatment for foot and leg problems"

Jill Featherston - Podiatrist

Jill joined the practice in 2006 moving from working in the NHS and the private practice in the U.K. Jill graduated from Salford with a Diploma in Podiatric Medicine in 1988. She also took a Bachelor of Science in Podiatry degree at Salford University in 1998

Jill particularly enjoys working with people with diabetes which she finds rewarding, especially working with foot ulcers. She also enjoys helping people who are just unable to cut their own nails anymore. The best thing about podiatry is "working with interesting people, being able to help alleviate their foot pain and helping keep people mobile." Because of her previous experience in the field, Jill was recruited by Queensland Health in April 2011 to lead the High Risk   Diabetic Foot Services on the Sunshine and Cooloola Coasts.  She is looking forward to combining the new work with her current work at Buderim Podiatry.

Martin Liebig - Podiatrist

Martin has been with Buderim podiatry since 2004. Martin studied Podiatry at Curtin University, Western Australia (1995). Martin has also completed the Australian Podiatry Certificate grades 1 and 2.

The sort of conditions Martin likes to treat are intractable and difficult to treat pain. The best thing about podiatry is "having people walk out the door without pain". " I've made a special study of dry needling for muscle problems and the use of accupuncture for the foot and leg which has helped many people with foot and leg pain. "

Eunice Cowen- Podiatrist

Eunice joined the team at Buderim Podiatry in 2011returning to Australia after some years working in the U.K. Eunice graduated from QUT podiatry, Brisbane in 1998 and has experince in private and public health podiatry services. Having a personal health and fitness knowledge from running to Pilates helps with working together with patients to help resolve musculoskeletal problems.  Eunice holds a postgraduate diploma in Clinical Podiatry- Biomechanics that was obtained while in the U.K.

Michelle Gray- Receptionist and Assistant

Michelle joined the practice in 2010 after successfully completing the Certificate iv in Business administration course.  Michelle has a diverse back-ground in customer service and clerical roles.   Michelle is now our Friday receptionist.

Cate Gough- Receptionist and Assistant

Cate joined Buderim Podiatry in September 2011.  Cate has many years experience as a podiatry receptionist and brings a wealth of knowledge to her new role.
